DescriptionA color monotype print of a painted caricature of Franklin D. Roosevelt. Consisting of FDR's head and shoulders, the right-facing profile portrait shows FDR dressed in a white shirt and a brown suit jacket and necktie. A pair of pince-nez glasses are perched on his nose. The artist's signature is in the lower right corner of the caricature: PLASCHKE / MONOTYPE. A FDR quote is handwritten in pencil below the image: "LET US NOT LOSE OUR SENSE OF HUMOR" –PRESIDENT FRANKLIN D. ROOSEVELT.
