DescriptionA model of a racing sloop, ELEANOR II. The deck and upper parts are varnished hardwood. Below the water line is a green hull with white trim. The masts have canvas sails and have been dismantled and tied horizontally along the deck for storage purposes. On either side of the bow is a engraved metal plaque with the sloop's name: ELEANOR II. The sloop flies the Presidential, American, and New York Yacht Club flags. The model sits in a custom made wood cradle stand.
