DescriptionA wood folding backgammon table featuring a portrait of Franklin D. Roosevelt. On the burled wood surface of the table is an inlaid wood backgammon board with an inlaid head and shoulders portrait of FDR in the center. Inlaid wood dice designs are at each corner of the table surface. The table's legs fold in on metal hinges and tuck into the underside of the table surface. Adhered on one of the table legs is a sticker with a handwritten number: D-12-a.

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on July 20, 1940. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
