The flag is mounted on a piece of paper, and below the flag is a handwritten black ink calligraphy inscription that reads: To the President of the United States of America / Guardian of Faith, hope and Charity of Our Land / The last Bulwark of humanity. / Where in humbleness Man has Dwelt / God Blessed Us With Franklin D. Roosevelt. The flag and inscription are framed within a white window mat.
