DescriptionA birthday greeting crocheted with red, white, and blue silk thread. On a white background with a blue border, red text reads: HAPPY BIRTHDAY / TO YOU / MANY RETURNS / OF THE DAY.

The greeting is glazed and framed in a silver-painted wood frame with an easel-style backer. Adhered on the reverse is a sticker with a typed number: D-22-22 [ink mark over last number].

Custodial History NoteDeposited at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum by Franklin D. Roosevelt on July 20, 1940. It was donated as a bequest of FDR to the Library in 1947.
