DescriptionA large flag representing various nations around the world. The flag is formed from the small, individual silk flags of 63 countries. The 64th space in the upper left corner is a white piece of fabric with the words "PEACE / on / EARTH." A narrow strip of white fabric running vertically down the flag has wording that reads: GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD. The flag has four blue ribbon ties along the left edge, and a gold-colored fringe on the top, right, and bottom edges.
On the reverse side of the flag is a handwritten note in the upper right that reads: Made in U.S.A / by / B.M.L.A. / Presented by her / to / Pres. Roosevelt / Jan. 7, 1940.
