DescriptionA black and white monotype print of an abstract portrait of Eleanor Roosevelt. Done on Japanese rice paper adhered to cardstock, the portrait features a right-facing profile of her head created from a series of black and white curvy lines on a shaded black background. The piece is titled in pencil below the portrait on the left side: ELEANOR ROOSEVELT. Written in pencil below the portrait on the right side: NOV. 60.

Written in pencil on the reverse of the cardstock: artist - Maria Hartlieb.
