Physical DescriptionA paperweight featuring Abraham Lincoln's November 19, 1863 Gettysburg Address. The paperweight consists of an oblong piece of black Italian marble on which has been mounted a rectangular copper plate. The copper plate has the wording of the Gettysburg Address in relief text, with Lincoln's etched facsimile signature in the lower right. In the upper left of the plate is a right-facing, head and shoulders relief profile portrait of Lincoln within a circle - similar to the Lincoln penny but without the wording.
