Physical DescriptionA model of the three-masted schooner, VICTORY. The wooden ship's hull is striped red, white, and blue. The sails are unfurled. The bow is marked with the ship's name: VICTORY. On the stern appears the name: Niki, or Νίκη, the Greek word for Victory. The model is mounted on a wood base and housed inside a wood and glass case.
Historical NoteThis model was sent to President Roosevelt by the maker, Anton D. Brotsos of Chicago, Illinois, on October 27, 1943.
