Physical DescriptionA round pinback button, possibly used during the 1944 presidential campaign. Gold text on a blue background reads: I AM A / DEMOCRAT.
Historical NoteThis button, along with an identical one (MO 1976.14.2), were clipped to a small card. Written on the front of the card: "YOUR HUBAND DONE MORE TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY THAN ANY OTHER PRES OF USA. Valley Supply Co. 209 Herman Ave. Lemoyne, Pa. W.P. Walls Mgr." Written on the reverse of the card: "FOR MRS ROSVELT FOR PRES ROSVLET". [NOTE: All words are spelled here as on the presentation card.]
