Physical Descriptiona) A pewter note pad holder. An image of a bird in flight, made of copper, is attached to the header. The manufacturer's mark is stamped into the lower right corner of the reverse of the holder: VAL-KILL.

b) A small, white paper notepad that sits in the holder (a).
Historical NoteProduced by Val-Kill Industries, this notepad holder was made by the forge metalsmith, Arnold Berge.
