Physical DescriptionA round sticker from the campaign of Wendell Willkie and Charles McNary. At the center of the white sticker, within a medium-blue border, is another circle - white on the top and red on the bottom. On the top half of the inner circle is a medium-blue line illustration of the United States Capitol dome, and white text on the lower half reads: WILLKIE / McNARY. Two union bugs - one for Chicago, Illinois - are printed along the bottom of the sticker along with the number 22.
Historical NoteWendell Willkie and Charles McNary were the Republican Party’s presidential and vice presidential candidates in 1940.
