Physical DescriptionA 1910 New York state senatorial campaign poster. Adhered to the center of the small beige-colored cardstock poster is a piece of white paper with a black and white halftone photographic headshot (with a slight sepia tint) of Franklin D. Roosevelt with his facsimile signature directly below the image. Brown text printed above and below the photographic sheet reads: Franklin D. Roosevelt / For State Senator / Counties of Columbia, Dutchess / and Putnam.
Historical NoteIn 1910, FDR was the Democratic Party’s successful candidate in the 26th District (Putnam, Dutchess, and Columbia Counties) for the New York State Senate.
