Physical DescriptionA delegate's badge for the 1932 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois. The piece consists of a gold-colored top bar and badge connected by a red, white, and blue vertically striped ribbon. The top bar has an image of the Chicago skyline and the text: DELEGATE / CHICAGO. The octagon-shaped badge features a portrait of Thomas Jefferson and the date 1932 encompassed by the words: DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION. The manufacturer's information is stamped into the reverse sides of the badge and top bar.
