Physical DescriptionA painted metal automobile license plate ornament from Franklin Roosevelt's campaign. On a blue background is white lettering that reads: ROOSEVELT. Manufacturer's information printed below text: PAT'D. AUG. 1929. TELL THE WORLD. BALTO, MD. On the bottom of the stem are printed instructions on attaching the piece to a license plate bead.
Historical NoteThis campaign piece is on display in the 1932 ELECTION CAMPAIGN exhibit in the Museum’s THE PROMISE OF CHANGE gallery.
