Physical DescriptionA 1932 anti-Prohibition campaign poster distributed by the Laundry Owners Publicity Bureau, New York City. At the center of the dark ecru poster is a black and white halftone photographic image of Franklin D. Roosevelt. The photographer's name is in the lower right of the image: Photo by MARTIN VOS N.Y. Black and white text above and below the image reads: DO YOUR BIT / REPEAL / THE / EIGHTEENTH / AMENDMENT / ELECT / FRANKLIN D. / ROOSEVELT / PRESIDENT. A union bug is along the right side.
At the bottom of the poster is a two-part detachable section - one on which to pin a dollar bill as a contribution, and the other to be returned with the contribution to the Democratic National Campaign Headquarters at the Hotel Biltmore in New York with the donor's name and address.
