Physical DescriptionA round pinback button from the Massachusetts campaigns of David Walsh, Charles Cole, and Joseph L. Hurley. The button consists of three horizontal bands in red, white, and blue. Printed on the bands is white and blue text that reads: ENDORSE ROOSEVELT / WALSH / COLE / HURLEY.
Historical NoteThis button is for Massachusetts Democratic Primary candidates in 1934. Charles H. Cole was the unsuccessful candidate for governor. Joseph L. Hurley was Cole's running mate, and the successful candidate for lieutenant governor. Incumbent Senator David I. Walsh was renominated for the U.S. Senate.
