Physical DescriptionA pewter letter opener in a reverse tear drop shape. A 1¼" Seal of the President of the United States medallion is set into the top of the opener. Made by Val-Kill Industries, the opener is unmarked with the manufacturer's information.
Historical NoteThis letter opener is a 1936 example of Christmas gift items produced by Val-Kill Industries for Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt to distribute. It was possibly made by the forge metalsmith, Arnold Berge.Additional Details
