Physical Description1) A pair of horn-rimmed eyeglasses with orange and yellow variegated plastic frames. Engraved on the inside of the temples: "ArtCraft 4¼ – 5¾."

2) A red-brown alligator leather slip-in eyeglass case. Stamped in gold on the front of the case: "Schoenig & Co., Inc / 9 ROCKEFELLER PLAZA / 8 EAST 42ND ST. N.Y.C."
Historical NoteThese eyeglasses and case were from the desk in Eleanor Roosevelt's bedroom in her 74th Street apartment in New York City.
