Physical DescriptionA pair of large gloves. The top of each glove is made of long-haired dark brown bear fur, and the underside of dark brown bear leather. The interiors of the gloves are lined with off-white fabric.
Historical NoteJoseph Stalin gave these fur gloves to President Roosevelt during the Yalta Conference in February 1945.

Custodial History NoteThe gloves were a gift to President Roosevelt by Joseph Stalin during the President's term in office. They were subsequently given by Eleanor Roosevelt to her personal physician and friend, Dr. A. David Gurewitsch. Donated to the FDR Library by Edna P. Gurewitsch in 2000.
