Physical DescriptionA small black and white poster featuring a drawn cartoon of a uniformed American Marine seated on a small, round piece of land labeled "WAKE ISLAND" surrounded by water. On a large sheet of paper he is writing a letter that reads: Dear Santa: / Send us some / more Japs, / yours truly / The Marines. The Marine is seated on a pile of small Japanese figures while another small figure dangles from the rifle bayonet leaning against his right shoulder. The artist's facsimile signature is in the lower left corner of the cartoon: FERMAN MARTIN.
