Physical DescriptionA 1944 campaign stamp cover with an anti-Roosevelt cachet. The white envelope bears a violet U.S. 3¢ Win the War Issue stamp (Scott 905). On the left side of the envelope is a cachet consisting of gold and green text that reads: Can you remember / Roosevelt's 1932 / campaign speeches? / Compare them with / his wanton spend- / ing orgy! Wow! The text is bordered by a decorative silver box.

The envelope is hand addressed in ink to: Paul J. Miller / 48 W. 6th St. / Pottstown / Pa. It is postmarked Wanamie, Pennsylvania, November 1, 1944. Stamped and written on the reverse of the envelope is information regarding the cachet: This Cachet Designed / and Sponsored by / WILLIAM S. LINTO / 4920 N.E. 16th Ave / PORTLAND, 11, ORE. / Cachet No. 493 / Covers Issued 40 / Cover No. 34.
