His helmet rests next to him on the ground. The Red Cross symbol is in the lower right corner. Red and black text across the top and bottom of the poster reads: YOUR BLOOD / CAN SAME HIM / Call / AMERICAN / RED CROSS. The artwork is by John Franklin Whitman Jr. A union bug is in the lower left. Poster No. 1205.
