Historical NoteThis poster is one of twelve British newspaper headline posters (MO 2005.13.20.44.1-12) with varying headlines relating to Franklin D. Roosevelt’s January 4, 1939 annual address to Congress, the State of the Union. In the speech, FDR urged a general rally to national defense and again denounced dictatorships.
