Physical DescriptionA U.S. Army poster titled, “THE FLAG of the United States of America,” featuring American flag etiquette. Below the title is a small reproduction of the Tom Woodburn illustration, “GUARDIAN OF THE COLORS,” depicting four U.S. soldiers in uniform, two of whom are carrying U.S. flags. Partially encircling the illustration is informational text and fourteen small diagrams with explanations related to the American flag and “How to Respect and Display It.” Printed along the bottom of the poster: “United States Army Recruiting Service.”
