Physical DescriptionA small black and white poster featuring a drawn cartoon of a uniformed American Marine holding a rifle in his left hand and a piece of paper in his raised right hand that reads: "THE ISSUE IS IN DOUBT" / U.S. / MARINES. The Marine is partially kneeling on a small earth mound while in the background, planes in the air are dropping bombs and a building - fronted by an American flag on a flagpole - is burning with the smoke billowing into the sky. The artist's facsimile signature is in the lower right corner of the illustration: Edmund Duffy.
