Physical DescriptionA propaganda leaflet titled, "The Americans Have Not Changed." On a piece of white paper, the upper left corner has a diagonal stars and stripes flag banner followed by the title. Beneath the title is a printed message to the German people informing them that the Americans are approaching their cities and things they should know about the Americans in order to get along with them:
1. The Americans require quiet and order and will mercilessly quell disorder.
2. The Americans will not tolerate war criminals and prolongers of war.
3. The Americans will root out fanatics and Nazi swindlers.

On the reverse side of the leaflet is a black and white photographic image of an American soldier in combat uniform. At the top, written in blue, is the heading, “My Names is Joe Jones”. This is followed by text, written a biographical manner, stating that he is an American soldier from Ohio. The text goes on to reiterate, in a more personal way, the points made on the front of the leaflet.
