Physical DescriptionA color poster illustrating the wrong and right ways to camouflage around a foxhole. On a brown background are two illustrations, one labeled "WRONG" (top image) and the other "RIGHT" (bottom image), on how the ground around a foxhole should be covered in order to assist the camouflaging aspects of a garnished net over the hole. White text below the illustrations reads: UNCOVERED SPOIL WILL SHOW / EVEN THROUGH / GARNISHED NET.

In the lower right corner of the poster is an illustrated emblem consisting of a helmeted German soldier's head with his eyes covered, encircled by text that states: CAMOUFLAGE BLINDS THE ENEMY.
