Physical DescriptionA color poster illustrating the wrong and right ways for soldiers to camouflage themselves. On a dark brown background is a large illustration of two Army soldiers lying side by side on the ground. The soldier on the left side is labeled "WRONG" and shows the soldier with uncamouflaged body and uniform parts, while the soldier on the right side is labeled "RIGHT" and shows the soldier properly camouflaged. White and light brown text below the illustration reads: TONE DOWN HANDS, FACE / AND EQUIPMENT / Reflections attract the enemy.

In the lower right corner of the poster is an illustrated emblem consisting of a helmeted German soldier's head with his eyes covered, encircled by text that states: CAMOUFLAGE BLINDS THE ENEMY.

The poster was printed by the U.S. Government Printing Office, poster no. 1943-O-554991.
