Physical DescriptionAn illustrated color poster featuring, in the foreground, a semi-transparent grayscale image of a uniformed and helmeted soldier holding a rifle across his chest. His image partially merges into the sepia-tone illustration of a field filled with burial crosses over which is a yellow-tinged sky. Black and white text on the poster reads: “It's my LIFE . . . / if the TRAINING PROGRAM fails.”

Printed in small text along the bottom of the poster: “U.S. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE : 1944—O-578050.
