Physical DescriptionA World War II U.S. Army production poster titled “Tomorrow may be TOO LATE!” The black and white poster features a drawn illustration of Japanese Prime Minister Hideki Tojo encouraging an American miner to “TAKE IT MORE EASY, MISTER MINER – PLENTY TIME TOMORROW!” The irritated miner responds, “OH YEAH? UNCLE SAM NEEDS MORE ORE TODAY TO LICK THE PANTS OFF YOU TOGO!” The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower right of the artwork: “ROLLIN KIRBY.”
