Physical DescriptionA 1944 campaign stamp cover with an anti-Roosevelt cachet. The white envelope bears a violet U.S. 3¢ Win the War Issue stamp (Scott 905). On the left side of the envelope is a cachet consisting of gold and green text that reads: Mr. Roosevelt says he / will obey the will of / the Sovereign People / Does he mean W. C. & Co.? The text is bordered by a silver box.

The envelope is addressed in typed lettering to: Mr. Paul J. Miller / 48 West 6th St. / Pottstown, Pa. It is postmarked Louisville, Kentucky, October 14, 1944. Stamped and written on the reverse of the envelope is information regarding the cachet: This Cachet Designed / and Sponsored by / WILLIAM S. LINTO / 4920 N.E. 16th Ave / PORTLAND, 11, ORE. / Cachet No. 583 / Covers Issued 50 / Cover No. 49.
