Physical DescriptionA color World War II propaganda poster featuring an orange and black graphic artwork illustration of a hand grasping a wrench. Black, orange, and white text on the poster states: "KEEP THE WHEELS TURNING! / REPAIR WORK is VITAL to the WAR EFFORT / ISSUED BY THE MINISTRY OF WAR TRANSPORT.” The artist’s facsimile signature is in the upper right corner of the poster: “FRANK NEWBOULD.” Small black text printed along the bottom margin of the poster has the printing information: “PRINTED FOR H.M. STATIONERY OFFICE BY H. MANLY & SON LTD. 51-9656."
