Physical DescriptionA black, white, and red poster promoting enlistment in the U.S. Navy. The poster features a large illustration of a U.S. Navy sailor - dressed in a t-shirt, pants, sailor's cap, and work gloves - holding a large artillery shell. Behind him are a series of big guns being fired into the night sky. The artist's name is in the lower right corner of the artwork: FRANK SANFILIPPO / U.S.N.R. To the left of the image is a white box with an eagle’s head silhouette at the top and red and black text that says: Our Men Out there NEED YOUR HELP. Along the bottom of the poster, on a black band, is white text (flanked by anchors) that reads: Enlist in THE UNITED STATES NAVY.
