Physical DescriptionA color poster featuring an illustration of a shipyard. On the left side of the yard is a ship under construction, and on the right side is docked a large completed ship flying the British flag. Along the bottom of the poster is a beige-colored horizontal band on which is black text that reads: Launching a merchant ship in a British shipyard / BRITAIN AND AMERICA HAVE OVER TWO MILLION TONS / MORE SHIPPING TO-DAY THAN IN AUGUST 1942. The artwork is by Rowland Hilder. Printed in England.
