Physical DescriptionA red, white, and blue poster for the "NAVY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM / ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS" series.

On the left side of the poster is a reproduction of a Clifford K. Berryman cartoon of a scene showing Uncle Sam giving a bouquet of flowers labeled "APPRECIATION" to a woman at a desk handing out ration cards to a waiting crowd. Uncle Sam says to her, "WHILE YOU ARE / HANDING OUT CARDS, / MISS SCHOOLTEACHER, / REMEMBER I'VE GOT ONE / FOR YOU." The artist facsimile signature and date are in the lower right corner of the cartoon: C.K.Berryman / The Evening Star / May 14, 1942. The right side of the poster has the United States Navy Seal, followed by a quote that reads, "... and my Navy / thanks you, too."
