Physical DescriptionA poster promoting the United States Armed Forces Institute (USAFI). The white poster features a black and white photographic image of a young woman dressed in an academic cap and gown and holding a rolled-up diploma in her left hand. To the right of her is red-orange text that reads: "It will help you get A JOB! / Through USAFI you can study for your school diploma while in the Army. Why not get this head start on the future?” A red-orange banner at the bottom has a short summary of the USAFI program with instructions on how to apply.

Printed in small text along the bottom of the poster: WAR DEPARTMENT POSTER No. 28-3 / U.S. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE : 1945—O-625025. The poster also includes distribution instructions.
