Physical DescriptionA color recruitment poster for the U.S. Army Air Forces Aviation Cadet Training program. The upper portion of the poster features a large sepia tone photographic image of three young men wearing flight uniforms and gear against a yellow and orange background. Black text within a yellow box in the lower right corner of the image reads: “This announcement is made with the approval of the Joint Army and Navy Personnel Board.”
Red and black text on the lower portion of the poster reads: “AVIATION CADET TRAINING TO BECOME BOMBARDIERS, NAVIGATORS, and PILOTS IN THE ARMY AIR FORES for men between the ages of eighteen and twenty-six, inclusive, through voluntary induction. Young men of seventeen years and less than eighteen years of age may volunteer for enlistment in the Air Corps Enlisted Reserve for future training as Aviation Cadets. / APPLY AT ANY AVIATION CADET EXAMINING BOARD OR ANY U.
