Physical DescriptionA color World War II propaganda poster featuring an illustration of Uncle Sam assisting a woman holding a baby away from warfare in the background. Moving with them is an injured Chinese soldier, carrying a rifle, with a bloodied bandage wrapped around his head. Orange and black text at the top and bottom of the poster states: “HELP CHINA! / CHINA IS HELPING US / UNITED CHINA RELIEF.”
Additional small text in lower left corner reads: “LITHO. IN U.S.A.” A union bug is in the lower right. The artwork is by James Montgomery Flagg.
