The poster features an illustration of a bald eagle in flight, with the U.S. Air Force insignia roundel on the underside of each wing. Flying alongside the eagle are four U.S. Army Air Corps airplanes. Text at the top and bottom reads: “WINGS OVER AMERICA / AIR CORPS U.S. ARMY” [flanked by the U.S. Air Force roundel]. The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower right corner of the artwork: “Tom Woodburn.”
