Physical DescriptionA World War II U.S. Army production poster titled “Make his Nightmare come true!” The black and white poster features a drawn illustration of Hideki Tojo, the Prime Minister of Japan, asleep on the ground. He is having a nightmare in which an Allied tank, fighter plane, and missile are headed at him while the image of an American miner stares him down and states, “NOW WE'RE GONNA MINE AND SMELT STILL MORE METAL FOR TANKS AN' SHIPS AN' GUNS." The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower right of the artwork: “ROLLIN KIRBY.”
