Physical DescriptionA color poster encouraging enlistment in the U.S. Navy. The poster features a large, closeup illustration of several uniformed sailors at work on the deck of a Navy vessel on open water. At the center of the scene, one of the sailors is preparing to launch a metal barrel-like container filled with TNT into the water as a depth charge. The artist's facsimile signature is at the center of the left side: McCLELLAND BARCLAY / USNR. White and red wording on the bottom half of the illustration reads: "Sub Spotted – / LET 'EM HAVE IT!" / LEND A HAND – Enlist in your Navy today.
