Physical DescriptionA World War II U.S. Army production poster titled “Sure Americans can take it!" The black and white poster features a drawn illustration of an American miner holding a newspaper in one hand and pointing with the other hand to the headline which reads, “YANKS ADVANCE AFTER SIX DAYS OF FIGHTING.” Above the man’s head is a quote bubble with text that says: “GEE, WE'VE GOT TO WORK SOME TO EQUAL THAT - LET'S GO!" The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower right corner of the artwork: “ROLLIN KIRBY.”
