Physical DescriptionA World War II U.S. conservation poster titled “PREVENT WOODS FIRES!” with the illustration of a flame beside the title. The color poster features a graphic illustration of a large hand extinguishing a match between its thumb and index finger. Below the hand is a small image of a partially-used book of matches and two extinguished matches. Text at the bottom of the illustration states: “Be sure your match is out.” The artist’s facsimile signature is to the right of the hand: “GIUSTI.”
