Physical DescriptionA large red, white, and blue crocheted 48-star American flag with crocheted stars on both the front and reverse sides. The flag has a white crocheted header on the left, and yellow fringe attached to the top, right, and bottom edges.
Historical NoteThis handmade flag was given to Franklin Roosevelt in February 1943 by the maker, Anna Topa of Baltimore, Maryland.
