Physical DescriptionA small red, white, and blue World War II propaganda poster. The poster features an artwork illustration of Uncle Sam shaking hands with a Chinese soldier against a background of the flags of the United States and the Republic of China flanking a portrait of Sun Yat-sen, “FOUNDER OF THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA ON OCTOBER 10, 1911.”

Red and blue text on the lower half of the poster states: "We Salute the CHINESE REPUBLIC On her Birthday OCTOBER 10TH / China - the First of our Allies to fight Japan, China - in spite of war, struggling victoriously toward Democracy as we did 150 years ago. / HELP HER TO FIGHT BRAVELY ON! / United China Relief / Member Agency of the National War Fund." A New York union bug is in the lower right corner of the poster.
