Physical DescriptionA small black and white World War II war production poster. The poster features a cartoon of an industrial welding workshop where several welders, dressed with coveralls, gloves, and safety mask are at work. One of the male workers is speaking to another welder who he doesn’t realize is a woman as is evidenced by her heeled shoes which he cannot see. He says to her, “You know, Bud, I’m glad we have no danged women working on this job.” The artist’s facsimile signature is in the lower right corner of the artwork: “R. TAYLOR.”
