Physical DescriptionA small World War II U.S. Army conservation poster. The orange, white, and black poster features a comic illustration of a large, hulking silhouette of a man labeled “rough-house” forcefully throwing a soldier into a window over a bed. Accompanying text states: “Save it for the ENEMY.”

Along the bottom of the poster is the U.S. Army Conservation Program “SAVE” logo and small text that reads: “ACP No. 99-P-15 (8).” The government printing office number is at the top: “GPO 619923.” Distribution instructions are at the top and bottom of the poster.
