Physical DescriptionA small World War II U.S. Army conservation poster. The red, white, and black poster features a comic illustration of a soldier trying to fill the gas tank of a vehicle with a gas can. Instead, he is distracted by an attractive woman walking by and ends up spilling the gas on the ground. Accompanying text states: “Enough to win the War / NOT enough to WASTE.”
Along the bottom of the poster is the U.S. Army Conservation Program “SAVE” logo, and small text that reads: “ACP No. 99-P-15 (7) / GPO 619806.” Distribution instructions are at the top and bottom of the poster.
