Physical DescriptionA heart-shaped pinback brooch. At the center of the plastic brooch is a solid red raised heart with a white inscription that reads: In the / Air Corps. The red heart is set over a larger blue "lace" plastic heart, which is set onto an even larger white "lace" plastic heart.
Historical NoteSent to Eleanor Roosevelt as a gift, this brooch is a World War II sweetheart pin, meant to indicate the wearer had a loved one serving in the Air Corps.
